There have been many burglaries in my neighborhood. I have been living here for two years and I can say it has been a peaceful community until the robbery started. We have made calls to the police reporting the situation but nothing have changed. Three women have lost their belongings in attacks made by motorcyclists. One of the women was so shock when this happened that she has forgotten the entire moment of the incident. Since this problem started we have created a committee to work together and try to find a solution. We have hired a private security company to help us protect our children and women; also we want to install cameras in the streets so we can watch the burglaries in action and arrest the thieves. I, myself, have been a victim of this attackers and I know the fear and stress the people experience; that’s why I won’t stop fighting this problem until we get to a solution.
