Use the following word order when you make an offer or an invitation:

Modal verb	+ subject	+ main verb (in simple form)	+ rest of sentence…..
Would	you	marry	me?
Can	we	meet	at the cafeteria?
May	I	help	you find anything?

Note: when making an invitation we can also use the expression: Would you like to……..?

Modal verb	+ subject	+ like to	+ main verb (in simple form)	+ rest of sentence…..
Would	you	like to	have	dinner with me?
Would	your sister	like to	go	out with me tonight?
Would	they	like to	come	to the movies?
